Obituary of Michael Braden

Michael Braden, age 55, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at home in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Braden was born June 3, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of Harriett ( Husten) Braden. He served in the US Marine Corps. He was employed by Ethan Allen Temp Agency as a Grounds Keeper at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a local resident for his entire life, and had also lived in Delray Beach, FL. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. One of Mike's hobbies was to ride his bike, which he did almost every day. He is survived by his sister, Karen Pfeifer of Poughkeepsie, and a niece, Jordan Pfeifer, also of Poughkeepsie. Mike was predeceased by his nephew, Ryan Michael Auwater. There will be one hour of visitation from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY, with a service to follow at 7pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
