Obituary of Carl Carter

Carl D. Carter, 58, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on July 19, 2010 at home. He had previously been an Independent Contractor (Carpenter), and had been retired for 6 years. He had previously resided in Oregon for 7 years. He served in the US Marine Corp. in Vietnam. Carl enjoyed watching baseball, football and movies. He was born on November 29, 1951 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Donald Carter and Katherine (Moody) Carter. He is survived by his daughter, Shellie A. Wilkinson & Matthew Ranallo of Wappingers Falls, NY, his daughter, Sarah Carter of PA, his sons, David and Kenny Carter, both of PA, and his sisters, Ronda of OR, Karen of MO, and Marsha of MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Erik, Dustina, Althea, Andrea, Samantha and Kaitlynn, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna, and grandchild, Clifford, as well as his parents. Funeral services will be private, and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
