Obituary of Yaoteng Chang
Yaoteng Chang, 69 of Poughkeepsie, NY died suddenly on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends. Born March 29, 1941 in Rangoon, Burma to the late Sung-Mao Chang and Yung-Ru Kuo, Yaoteng was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a 36 year veteran of IBM who loved to bowl, play card games, watch his beloved Yankees and Giants, spend time with his family and tinker around with anything that could be tinkered with. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Norma of Poughkeepsie, NY and his four kids, Kathrynlee and Daniel Leung of Norton, MA and Richard and Deborah Chang of Ann Arbor, MI. Yaoteng is also survived by his brother, sisters, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Calling hours will be held Friday October 8, 2010 from 10am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie New York 12603. Funeral services will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Arlington Fire District 11 Burnett Blvd. Poughkeepsie New York 12603.
