I was one of your mother's French students in the early 1970's. She was very enthusiastic! I especially remember her very emotional, "Crise cardiac!" whenever a student said a Franglais word like "le hamburger" or "le boyfriend." I fondly remember the French teachers' dinners, which their students were invited to, which lasted for hours and were punctuated by much laughter. She also went to Poughkeepsie High with my father, Adolph Rzant, and always reminded him that they were classmates.
