Obituary of Stewart Cronk

Stewart L. Cronk, 59, a resident, all of his life of the Town of Poughkeepsie, died June 20, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital. He was a former employee of IBM Fishkill, Phillips, Micros and NXP Fishkill, NY, attended Poughkeepsie High School and Dutchess Community College, a member of Shekomeko Lodge 458, St. Martin DePorres Church and was a big New York Yankees fan. Born December 6, 1949, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Henry and Dorothy Ward Cronk. On September 20, 1986, at St. Martin DePorres Church, Poughkeepsie, NY, he married Susan M. Leyden. Survivors include wife, Susan M. Cronk of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Ken Fishpaugh of Baltimore; daughter and son-in-law, Keri and Dan Ellenberger of Baltimore; brother and sister-inlaw, Mark and Toni Cronk of New Fairfield, CT; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Dan Bailey of Sarasota, FL; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Masonic service will be held by the Shekomeko Lodge 458 at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 25, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Martin DePorres Church.
