Obituary of Charles Decker

Charles W." Billy " Decker, age 62, of the City of Poughkeepsie died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital of Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Decker was born September 10, 1948 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was the son of Kenneth and Ruth Decker. Mr. Decker was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. He was employed as a presser in the Garment Industry and was also a School Crossing Guard for City of Poughkeepsie Schools. He was a member of the Highland Grange and he liked to fish and play bingo. He is survived his sister Carol Coumo of Highland, NY, his brother Louis John Decker of Pleasant Valley, NY, Donald Decker, his friend of over 40 years, Philip Martinez, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral service will be held Thursday, 10/21/10 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY
