Obituary of Estella Fusco

Estella A. Fusco, age 94, of Poughkeepsie died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at River Valley Care Center, Poughkeepsie. Estella was born June 15, 1916 in Schenectady, NY. Her previous residence was in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mattie (Peck) Van Patten. She was married to Dominick Fusco who predeceased her in 1988. Estella was a member of Arlington Reformed Church, Poughkeepsie, NY. Estella retired from Astro Chemical Co., Burnt Hills,NY as a Supervisor in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Barnes of Poughkeepsie and four grandchildren, Bruce Barnes, Cynthia Rodrigues, Steven Barnes & and Ricky Allen. Estella is also survived by ten great grandchildren, ten great, great grandchildren, two great, great, great children. She was predeceased by a daughter Evelyn Lindholm in Sept. of 2002 and by four brothers, Gordan, Milton, Robert & Howard Van Patten. Calling Hours will be Friday, November 19, at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in the funeral home. The Rev. Randy Prentiss will officiate. Burial will take place in the Ballston Spa Cemetery, Ballston Spa, NY, following the service.
