I'm so sorry for the loss of such a vibrant woman who was always smiling whenever I saw her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family, and especially Ann, my childhood friend.

To the entire Hartzell family. I am so sorry for your loss. I took ceramics at your mom's (wife) home years ago, probably in about 1974/1975. My sister, Kathy Depew, lived around the corner from her. Martha was such a wonderful person and I so enjoyed going to her classes. One year she had a get together after class at Christmas time and served "snickerdoodles". I loved them, she gave me her recipe and I have been them every Christmas ever since. Again, my deepest sympathy to you all. Jeannie Lewis

We were very saddened to hear that Martha had passed away. She was very special to us and have many good memories. She and my mom who passed away April 2009 are probably enjoying doing ceramics together again. Our deepest sympathy to the family. Love Nancy & Caulder
