I am so sorry for your loss. My mom died 3 years ago & I still grieve her absence. I am helping to care-give for my father, who became very ill just 2 months ago, so just today, i have been able to read the last 4 weeks of the newspapers. I am sorry this condolence is so late. C, please contact me. Rose was always so kind to me whenever I would visit with you. I remember Collen & Kenny too - such fond memories of way back when! My favorite memories of Rose as a kid was sitting in her kitchen with Christian while she fixed us sandwiches with Italian bread, olive oil, tomato and mayo. As we all sat together over snacks and tea, she spoke of daily events and made two elementary school girls laugh as if we were old buddies. When the hours passed and when it was time to leave she hugged and kissed me as if I was biologically part of this amazing family. I will never forget her sweetness or her open arms. My heart goes out to all of the family but, please know that a little bit of Rose is in all of you. Janine, Gail, Connie, Kenny and June like your mom-- I thank you all for such opening arms.
