Obituary of Rose Klump
Rose V. "Blondie" Klump, 80, a resident of the Town of LaGrange, all of her life, died August 6, 2009 at Sunny Knoll Drive. She was a Homemaker and Avon Sales person for over ten years. A member of the American Legion 1302 Ladies Aux., Women's Bowling League, Twin Mothers Club and Holy Trinity Church Poughkeepsie. Born September 21, 1928, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Anthony and Concetta Morabito. She attended Mt. Carmel Grade School and Poughkeepsie High School. On April 24, 1949, in Poughkeepsie, she married John F. Klump, who predeceased her on May 28, 1989. Survivors include daughter, Gail Chickery of Poughkeepsie; daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Tony Jarrett of Poughkeepsie; daughter and son-in-law, June and Gary Vail of Hyde Park; son, Kenneth Klump of Palm Springs, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Vinnie Princiotto of Marlboro, NY; daughter, Colleen Klump of Prospect, CT; grandchildren, Lisa Chickery, Anthony and Heather Chickery, Christian Jones, Tony Jarrett, Jr., Isaiah and Christina Vail, Nathanial Vail, Jessie Vail and Corey Fillion; great grandchildren, Isabella Chickery, Mekhi Jarrett and Amaya Jarrett and one on the way; brothers, Angelo Triola and John Morabito; sister, Josephine DeMichele; brother-in-law, William Klump, sister in-law Ellen Triola and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a brother,three sisters and a son-inlaw , Marty Triola, Antoinette Aiello, Dell Kowalski and Eleanor McKenna and Anthony Chickery. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on August 10, 2009 at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY.
