I attended Arlington High School graduating 1963 and was fortunate enough to have Mr. Nelson as my principal. We met again at a recent Arlington reunion and enjoyed spending time together. Dear Jim, Pete, & family, While I haven't seen your dad for many years,(the last time might have been when I interviewed for a summer Diver Ed. job which I still have), I still remember what an unbelievably nice, easy-going person he was and how I always felt good after talking to him. He will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences to the Nelson family for the loss of a truly fine man. As a 1978 graduate of Arlington High School, I had the great pleasure of knowing Mr. Nelson as the very respected principal of the school. He was very involved in the lives of the students and helped create a great environment for the school. He will be remembered by the many people whose lives he had such a positive affect on for many years.
