Obituary of Rita H. O'Donnell

Rita H. O'Donnell, age 90, Poughkeepsie died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Thompson House, Rhinebeck. Mrs. O'Donnell was born August 20, 1920 at Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Helen “Nellie" (Hyland) O'Donnell. She retired from Otis Elevator Yonkers New York as a Head of Payroll in 1980. She was a five year local resident, previously of Yonkers, New York. Rita was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Yonkers and St. Martin DePorres Church Poughkeepsie. She loved to read, loved dogs and was a member of the Irish American Unified Club in Yonkers. She is survived by one sister: Grace O’Donnell of Poughkeepsie, NY Niece, Susan and her husband Kim Johnson of Poughkeepsie, NY; Nephews, Keith and Matthew Cannella of Poughkeepsie, NY Calling hours will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at St. Anthony's Church Yonkers New York; Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers New York
