Obituary of Michael Papanikolaou

Michael J. Papanikolaou passed away Thursday, October 1. Michael was born November 8, 1981 in Peekskill, New York but lived most of his life in the Town of Poughkeepsie with his family. He was a rare and beautiful person who tried to make everyone around him laugh and smile. He enjoyed cooking, fitness, being around children, and playing sports and games with his many friends. Beloved son and brother, he touched the lives of everyone he ever met and was truly one of a kind. "This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you". He is survived by his mother, Joanne; father, Steven; sister Katina; and many close friends that Michael thought of as brothers. He was our angel and will forever be missed. We love you Mikey. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
