Dear Polivkas: My condolences to you all. I remember Joanne (who I think of as Mrs. Polivka) as an energetic and enthusiastic Mom and I hold fond in my memories thoughts of her. Just heard about Jo from Pat Cianci. We are so sorry to hear the news, I hope she did not suffer much. We are actually in Urbana this week, helping Adrienne since she had back surgery on Monday. She and her husband are both teaching at the U of I! Gaithersburg is only 30 minutes or so from Falls Church. We should meet next time when you are out East.

Mr. Polivka Our deepest sympathy and condolences are with you and your family at this time. Your wife was a wonderful person and I really enjoyed her visits at the center with my K-1st graders.
