Obituary of Ted Riordan

Ted M. Riordan, 47, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. A lifelong area resident, he was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at College View Towers. He was a member of the Amateur Pool Association where in played in many tournaments across the state. He was an avid pool player and big fan of Pink Floyd. Born in Poughkeepsie on July 17, 1962, he was the son of Raymond and Doris Meddauegh Riordan. He was a graduate of Arlington High School. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Doris Riordan Grey and Fred Grey of Poughkeepsie; his children, Dustin, TJ and Alissa Riordan of Poughkeepsie; brother, Raymond Riordan; brothers and sisters in law, Ronald and Pamela Riordan and Richard and Jeannie Riordan, brother, Wayne Riordan, all of Poughkeepsie; brother and sister in law, Gary and Linda Riordan of Burlington Flats, NY; a step son, Brandon Polemeni of Poughkeepsie and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Stephen. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm during visitation at the funeral home, his nephew, Kevin Riordan, who is an Ordained Minister, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike Poughkeepsie.
