Obituary of Philip Rogers
Philip Rogers, 59, of Highland, passed away at home on Saturday, August 28, 2010. A local resident since 1968, he had resided in Queens, NY. He was the owner of Ameriucan Heating & Cooling. He loved to fish and play raquetball an also loved the Adirondacks and boating. Born in Queens, NY on December 22, 1950, he was the son of Jack and Ruth Pincus Rogers. He attended the State University at New Paltz. In 1984, he married Karen De Gaeta in New Paltz.. His wife survives at home in Highland. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Rogers of Delray Beach, FL. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 2 to 5pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bel Canto Institute, 210 West 70th Street, Suite 1107, New York, NY 10023.
