Obituary of Marjorie Schong

Marjorie R. Schong, 64, of the City of Poughkeepsie on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at home. A local resident since 1964, she had previously resided in Central Square, NY. She was employed as a 2nd Line Manager at IBM where worked in Yorktown, Poughkeepsie and Kingston, retiring in 1996. Born in Central Square, NY on February 9, 1946, she was the daughter of Nicholls and Nellie Frehe Schong. She graduated from Oswego with a degree in Mathematics. She is survived by her niece, Richelle Spaller of Plattsburgh; and a nephew, Gerald Fellion of Chicago. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.
