We had the privilege of knowing Bernadette through our niece Karissa. It was a joy having the girls down to visit us in New York and to have Bernadette as a guest at our wedding. She was a darling, always generous, very kind, smart, and fun to be with. Like so many, we will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Spranzman family. We wish you courage, peace, and love in this difficult time.

Although I did not know Bernadette very well, I know she was a sweet, beautiful girl with a phenomenal sense of fashion! She was in my Geometry Class and we always rolled our eyes at each other when the next round of failed geometry tests came around... Although an acquaintance of mine, she will be in my heart forever and always because of her benevolent nature. She is the new Spackenkill Angel and I know she'll pray for us next time we have a math test! My support, love, and prayers goes to the Spranzman family and close friends of Bern.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your dear daughter, Bernadette. I always remember her as a good, kind, sweet little girl when we had her in Kindergarten. Listening to those special words said about her on Friday showed that she remained as I remembered her. May God guide you and your family during this most difficult time.

As I sit here, the tears stream down my face. I cry inside everyday because I miss you so0o0o, incredibly much Bern. No matter where I am, I know you're with me and I can feel your spirit. I cannot describe how much I loved you, but you have touched so many peoples' lives that no one will EVER forget you. I will always love and miss your beautiful smile, your shining face and your wonderful spirit. It's not fair what happened to you, but I take comfort in knowing that I will see you again one day. You are clearly an angel sent from God who touched our lives indefinitely. I will always remember your sweet voice, your cute laugh and bubbly personality. You had a love for life that nothing could take away from you-not even death. I cherish every memory that I have of you and hold it close to my heart. You are still my little sis, as a sisterly bond can never be broken. You are my hero; everything that stands for good in this cruel world. You have taught me, as well as, everyone not to take life for granted. I LOVE & MISS YOU, BERN..Beanie, my sweet little sis. R.I.P with Grammy and the angels. I love you

To the entire Spranzman family. We offer our deepest sympathy. Our prayers are with all of you. Bern was a very special young woman. She shared many of our family get togethers with us. She slept at our home on numerous occassions with our grandaughter Karissa Doerr. They were the best of friends. There was always laughter when she was around. Bern was pleasure to spend time with. Everyone who knew Bern loved her and will miss greatly.

I didn't have the opportunity to teach Bernadette at Hagan, but I remember her and Tiffany as dear and sweet girls. Each year it seems, I have a twin in class. I was lucky enough to teach Morganne and was moved by her touching words at the service. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking to see young people have to deal with such sadness. Her sisters' and Mo's words spoke with such maturity and grace that felt as uplifting and moving as the pastor's singing of the Josh Groban song. I'll keep an eye on Joey over at Hagan.

First i would like to say thank you to Bern's wonderful familly for raising such a wonderful person. I became friends with Bernadette about two months ago. She was in my math and french class. We always used to compare our horrid geometry grades. Her smile could light up a room. There will not be a day that goes by when i wont look at her empty seat and smile because i will remember her laugh and the warmth she gave. She was an amazing person and still is. She is in my heart for ever and always. My apologies for the loss of this wonderful young lady. No one will ever forget her

heather and family - the ceremony was beautiful, it was wonderful to see so many people who supported and loved bernadette. the pieces written by her friends and family brought tears to everyone's eyes with their sincere words. hearing the memories of bernadette's life shows that we can live happily being blessed with the great things she taught us, rather than mourn her death. she may be gone physically but god has granted that a part of her soul stay in those closest to her. she has touched the lives of everyone near her and we can all make peace with that blessing. best wishes to all of you and condolences on your loss. love to all.
