I am so sorry to hear about Joan's passing. I was her upstairs neighbor for the last 5 years, and although we didn't know each other very well, it was always nice to talk with her and keep an eye out for each other. I was out of town for the calling hours and service, but I did want to just express my sympathy and say that it was nice knowing her for the past 5 years.
