Obituary of Sheryl Irene Storms

Sheryl Irene Storms, 58 years old of Highland, New York passed away unexpectly on September 30, 2009 at Vassar Medical Center. Born April 25, 1951 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, she was the loving daughter of Mrs. Mildred F. Scott of Poughkeepsie and the late Williams Storms, Ephrata, PA and the late step-father Edgar W. Scott. She is also survived by her loving brother Jerald E. Scott of Cornwall, New York. Other survivors include two Uncles, William Fells of Rhinebeck, New York, and Charles Fells of Poughkeepsie, New York. She is also survived by, three Aunts, Mrs. Dorothy LoGiudice of Canajoharie, New York, Mrs. Shirley Dillenbeck of Oneida, New York and Mrs. Barbara Pitt of Esperance, New York. She is also survived by numerous cousins and her best friend, Mrs. Theresa Wilson of Highland, New York. Sheryl was a 1969 graduate of Arlington High School. She was employed by Hudson Valley Nursing Center in Highland New York. There will be a Graveside Funeral Service for relatives and Friends, 1pm on Wednesday October 7, 2009 at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Dutchess County ASPCA Violet Ave. Hyde Park New York 12538, as Sherry had rescued several animals at the ASPCA and also performed volunteer work there.
