Obituary of Mary Szabo-DiCambio

Mary Jo Szabo-DiCambio, 68, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on October 16, 2010 at Odyssey Health Care. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at the Cabrini Home in Esopus, NY. She had been a resident of Tucson since 1979, having previously resided in Wappingers Falls, NY. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 2, 1942, the daughter of Joseph John Szabo and Mary Elizabeth Sherbane Szabo. Mary Jo was a 1960 Graduate of Nativity School in Poughkeepsie and of Dutchess Community College. On August 4, 1963, she married George DiCambio at St. John the Baptist Church. Her husband survives at home. She is also survived by her daughter and son in law, Liza and Michael Cervantez, of Marana, AZ, her son and daughter in law, Michael and Louise DiCambio, of Huntington Beach, CA, and her son, Matthew DiCambio of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Delgado, Jeremy Delgado, Aaron Delgado, Austin DiCambio, Lauren DiCambio and Julia DiCambio. Memorial donations in Mary Jo's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2678 South Road Suite 102, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, LaGrange Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
