Obituary of George Undello

George E. Undello, 73, of the Town of Poughkeepsie passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie. George was a lifelong area resident who loved to read. Born in Poughkeepsie on June 20, 1936, he was the son of Sylvester and Ethel Squires Undello. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. He married Anna LaRusso at St. James Church in Hyde Park. They were married for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Anna Undello at home; his daughters, Jolene Ellsworth of Kingston; Patricia and Rebecca; Debra Pineiro of Woodstock; Marie Braig of Hyde Park; Dolores Hoover of Salt Point ; son, John Pineiro of Florida, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Brian and George Undello and his sisters. A celebration of George's life will e held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Castle Court of Concord Village, 386 Van Wagner Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Special thanks to Hospice and Lutheran Care for their outstanding and compassionate care given to our family. Also the family would like to thank all their neighbors at Castle Court for their prayers and love. Donations may be made in his memory to the Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsise, NY 12601. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
