Obituary of Vickie Zampko

Vickie Zampko, 60, of Town of Poughkeepsie, NY died on April 6, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. She was a technician at IBM in Poughkeepsie, and a lifetime area resident. She was a member of Regina Coeli Church in Hyde Park, NY, and loved being outside, camping and gardening. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 18, 1949 the daughter of Phillip H. Carroll and Natalie R. Winters. She attended Roosevelt High School. In September, 2000 she married Shawn Zampko in Poughkeepsie. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Matmati of Wingdale, NY and her son John Oravetz of TX, as well as two grandchildren, Iichia Matmati and Valerie Oravetz, and three brothers, Dennis, Timothy and Christopher Carroll. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Oravetz. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
