Obituary of Carol Hart

Carol A. Hart, age 72, of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Carol was born August 18, 1943 in Queens, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank and the late Marie (Azzaro) Cortese. She married Alvin A. "Rick" Hart, he predeceased her on February 9, 2013. She retired from IBM East Fishkill after being employed by IBM for over 26 years. Carol was a local resident most of her life, she also previously resided in Mount Airy N.C. Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Church Poughkeepsie, she was an avid METS fan and enjoyed NASCAR She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Todd Michael and Marisa Hart of Poughkeepsie, NY., daughter and son in-law Kelly and Steve Maggiore of Kingston, NY., sons:, Brian Hart of Poughkeepsie, NY and Christopher Hart of Staatsburg, NY., her seven grandchildren, Samantha Eilenberger and her husband Jim , Shauna Hart, Alyssa Hart, Ricki Maggiore, Sabrina Hart, Ashley Dam and Alyssa Dam, great grandchildren Michael, Emily, Haley and Jacob Eilenberger and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, June 13, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
