Obituary of Marlene Allen

Marlene Allen, age 65, of Hyde Park, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at home in Hyde Park. Ms. Allen was born August 2, 1950 in Provo, UT. She is the daughter of the late Louis and the late Amelia (Syrotchen) Belcastro. She was employed by IBM Poughkeepsie. Marlene was a local resident most of her life. She enjoyed Christmas Eve with her family. Marlene loved to cook and bake, she enjoyed gardening and she was very artistic and creative in writing poetry. She is survived by her sister and brother in-law Mary Ann and Frank Carione of Hopewell Jct, NY., her niece Stephanie Lazerus and her husband Andrew of Manhattan and her nephew John Carione of Boston MA. Marlene also had two great nieces Maia and Tessa Lazerus. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Peters Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY.
