Obituary of Catherine Parsio

Catherine C. Parsio, 84, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, died at home Sunday, September 21, 2008. She was a Home maker and Life long area resident. Born in Poughkeepsie, November 25, 2008, she was the daughter of John "Jack" and Elizabeth Scovan Digilio. On May 30, 1945, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, she married Frank A. Parsio, he survives at home. Catherine was very involved with her Grandchildren and she loved to travel. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alissa and Stanley Perreault of Wappingers; son and daughter-in-law, John "Jack" and Peggy Lee Parsio of Pleasant Valley. Catherine is also survived by her sister, Jeanne Bertoldo of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren, Nicole Stabile, Kristen Bielanos, Christine Perricelli, Anthony Parsio, Brittany Parsio and her great granchildren Brian, Grace and Nicholas. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral Services will be held 10am, Wednesday, September 24, at St. Martin DePorres Church. Burial will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
