Obituary of Robert Elmendorf

Robert L. Elmendorf 76 of the Town of Poughkeepsie died Thursday at Vassar Hospital. Born in Kingston New York on November 7, 1929 he was the son of the late Asa and Leila Elmendorf. On June 11, 1949 he married Frances Steen who survives at home. Robert is also survived by his children, Linda S. Pellicane, Bruce W. Elmendorf, Stanley R. Elmendorf, Karen L. Sheehy, Gary A. Elmendorf, Jeffrey M. Elmendorf, Lori F. Elmendorf and Tracey L. DiBrango, his grandchildren Michelle, Katelyn, Bethany, Jason, Justin, Wendy,Robert, Michael, Kyle, Brandon, Michael, Thomas, Adriane, Jeffrey and Matthew, 4 great grandchildren and a Sister Catherine Coddington. Calling Hours will be held Sunday June 25, 2006 from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Monday June 26, 2006 at 11am in the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
