My thoughts are prayers are w/ the family. Ron was my manager at IBM, Poughkeepsie. While I probably left little impression on him, the impression he left on me still shapes who I am today. As his report, Ron always saw potential in people which they didn't see in themselves. He gave them opportunities and challenges as a result. Personally, Ron's talent helped me exceed w/in IBM and grew my own confidence. Today as a manager w/ another company, I can only aspire to display those same talents to my own team. We are shocked and so sad to hear this. We go back so many years ... from the days at Grand Union - to him doing our taxes every year. The last time we saw Ron was April 15th and even though he was probably exhausted from tax season, he managed to laugh and joke with us. Ron was truly a good person and he will be missed.
