Obituary of David LaFalce

David "Rocky" LaFalce, 60, of Poughkeepsie, died September 30, 2008 at River Valley Care Center. A local resident all his life, he was the past owner of Rocky's Place in Poughkeepsie. He was a member of Mid Hudson Church of Christ. Born Jan. 8, 1948 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Joseph P. and Marie Grace LaFalce. He attended Poughkeepsie High School. Survivors include brother and sisterin-law, Alfonso and Cele LaFalce, Poughkeepsie; brother and sister-inlaw, Anthony and Patricia LaFalce, Poughkeepsie; brother and sister-inlaw, Michael and Lisa LaFalce, Poughkeepsie; sister and brother-inlaw, Ann and Anthony DelForno, Poughkeepsie; brother and sister-inlaw, Joseph and Lauren LaFalce, Staatsburg; seven nieces and six nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews; as well as several aubts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 from 4-7pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A memorial service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Ave., Poughkeepsie.
