Obituary of Jeannette Oberrieth

Jeannette E. Oberrieth, 61, of Pleasant Valley, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Oberrieth was a Claims Adjuster for State Farm Insurance, retiring in 2004. She had a great love quilting and textile art. Born Nov. 3, 1946 in Queens, she was the daughter Louis Henry and Gladys Solano Rodriguez. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Mount St. Mary's College. On May 27, 1967, in Regina Coeli Church, Hyde Park, she married Richard Oberrieth. Mr. Oberrieth survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Christie Oberrieth of Virginia; her grandson, Noah Oberrieth of Virginia; her mother, Juanita Rodriguez of Florida; and three sisters, Mary Rodriguez, Carol Sydnor and Geraldine Rodriguez, all of Florida. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie.
