Obituary of James W. Paschal

James W. Paschal, of LaGrangeville, NY, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A lifelong resident, he worked in management for IBM in Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill, NY. He served in the US Navy and belonged to the Mid County Rod & Gun Club and the American Legion #1302. Jim liked to snow mobile, go four wheeling, spending time at the gun club and fishing. He married Frances Arlene Kozak and she survives at home. In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his son and his fiancé Christopher James Paschal and Francesca Muratore of Saratoga Springs and his son and daughter-in-law John and Jennifer Cunningham of Poughquag, NY. Also surviving is his sister Patricia Knapp of Staatsburg, NY, several nieces and nephews and his 5 grandchildren Nicole, Victoria, Olivia, Johnny and Dominique and his great-granddaughter Desiree. His son, Ryan Paschal predeceased him on November 6, 1994. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 4:00-8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00am at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
