Obituary of Andrew Perassi

Andrew Joseph Perassi, age 80, Wappingers Falls NY, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck NY. Mr. Perassi was born November 11, 1930 at Poughkeepsie, NY the son of the late Joseph and the late Anna (Kisshouer) Perassi. A graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, he served in the Marine Corps and was a sharp shooter during his active duty. Andrew was a life long resident of the area; he lived in Largo Florida after his retirement. He was employed by Local 1000 Poughkeepsie New York and loved to bowl. He is survived by his two sisters: Mary M. Coty of Wappingers Falls, NY and Alice Carney of Poughkeepsie, NY, he is also survived by his niece, Sally Plaza of Wappingers Falls, NY Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Services will follow at 4:00pm Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
