Dear Family of Betsy Saul, I would like to express my sincere sympathy for your loss of Betsy. She was a happy soul who touched the lives of many in a positive way. Many years ago she taught me CPR. I became a CPR Instructor myself and taught many medical professionals as well as lay people. And it all began with Betsy!

I knew Betsy through our St. Francis contacts. I remember her as consistently kind and patient, always willing to help even with difficult patients. Her work with the fire company and Red Cross carried on her spirit of care and devotion to the community. She will be missed.

Betsy was truely a beautiful person! A kind, gentle woman who made my family feel special. We lived next door to her for 10 years and maintained contact through my husband John. She will be missed by many, many people. The world has lost a beautiful soul but we need to smile at all the joy and happiness she brought to so many.

Doug and I were so sad to hear of Betsy's passing. Doug remembers so fondly her being his Sunday School teacher at St. James many years ago. She kidded with him so much when recalling how she taught him how to swim when he was a young boy. She had a wonderful sense of humor and such humanity for others in need. Besides the activities noted in her obituary, she was also a very important and vibrant member of our Outreach committee for so many years. This world needs more Betsy's that's for sure and she will be very much missed.
