John " tootsie" Smith 69 of Poughkeepsie died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on September 15, 2006. Born In Jamaica he was the son of Euria and Helma Johnson. in 1972 he married Yvonne Brown who survive at home. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren. Services will be held Friday 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic 19 North Clover St. Pok NY. Visitation is 9am to 10am. Burial will take place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
