Obituary of Eileen Grabowski

Eileen D. Grabowski, 67, of Poughkeepsie, NY died Monday, January 2, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A local resident since 1969 and previously of Germantown, Eileen was born on April 1, 1944 to Joseph and Anamae Risley O'Neil in Binghamton, NY. She had worked as a clerk at 7-11 on Hooker Ave., and previously worked as a district secretary for Caldor's and W.T. Grants of Poughkeepsie. Eileen had attended schools in Binghamton, NY and on June 24, 1967 she married Anthony P. Grabowski in Binghamton and he survives at home. She loved to sew and do crossword puzzles and loved to play games on her computer. In addition to her husband at home, Eileen is survived by her son Michael A. Grabowski of Atlanta, Georgia, son Richard E. Grabowski of Oregon, son Robert A. Grabowski of Poughkeepsie, NY and her grandchildren Zachary, Kyle and Noah Grabowski. In addition, she is survived by sisters Mary Ann Liddic and Patricia Lloyd, and her brothers Richard, Thomas, Gary, Michael and Ronald O'Neil and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James O'Neil. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00pm at the Timothy P.
