Obituary of Olivia Campbell

Olivia Campbell, 62, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her son James, after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at home where she resided with her son, his fiancé and grandchildren. She was born May 2, 1948 in Bronx, NY to the late Mr. & Mrs. James Campbell. Olivia grew up in Queens, NY surrounded by her sisters and brothers. At the age of 18 she moved to Poughkeepsie, NY where she met Joan and Corneilous Mosley who became her loving parents and extended family. At the age of 30, Olivia gave birth to her one and only child, James Campbell, her pride and joy. Olivia was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Olivia was very care, kind and thoughtful of others. She loved to play Dominoes and her scratch offs. What she enjoyed most of all is the company of her grandson, James Jr., the apple of her eye. His greatest memories of grandma will be the long bike rides and the stop for ice cream. She is survived by her son James Campbell and his fiancée Stacey Morano, grandchildren Keziah Campbell, James Campbell, Jr., Javen Campbell and step-grandson Dominis Rodriquez, brothers Wayne Mosley and his wife Bonita of Albany, NY, Carlton Mosley and Kelvin Mosley both of Poughkeepsie and her sister Joan Mosley of Albany. She was predeceased by her sisters Louise Campbell and Barbara Campbell. Olivia will be missed by family and many dear friends. I have not one regret, you were a part of my life I'll never forget.
