I have so many wonderful memories of you. Car rides we've shared and just reminiscing about the old days. And our many long talks on the phone. I had the honor of working with Betty at Duzine Elementary School. I work in the office and Betty was just a sweet and kind individual. Betty always had a smile and I know she enjoyed working with the children at Duzine. Betty will be missed. Betty and her family will be in my prayers and thoughts. God Bless.

I am going to miss her, but I am so thankful that she was in my life. I know she had a good life and is in a happier place now. I loved driving home from college and stopping by her house where she always greeted me with a hug and a big cup of coffee. If I was too tired from the drive, she wouldn't let me leave unless I finished every sip of my coffee. That was the type of person she was. She always made sure all of us were taken care of. She loved and care about all of us very much. I'm glad she was able to spend her birthday with my grandpa who I am sure greeted her with a birthday cake with those trick candles. We will miss you very much Grandma!

What a great birthday it was for my grandma this year; to spend it with Jesus and grandpa. I can see them now sitting at the table early in the morning with a cup of coffee and talking. I am sad because I will miss her, but happy to have had so many years with her.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

In 2003 I made a memorable road trip with Aunt Betty to Florida to see my mom. Before we left, Aunt Betty took me to play bingo and introduced me to her friends. We laughed and had fun. We left early the next morning in the fog and rain with me driving her car for the first time. In all the traffic I ended up in the wrong lane and missed the exit we needed and ended up taking the loooonnng way to the interstate. On the fun side of things we got to drive past Yankee stadium :) much to Aunt Betty's dismay.:/ Along the way we had a chance to talk and really get to know eachother better. I have always been thankful I had the chance to take that trip with her.
On another note: My daughters were reminiscing about Aunt Betty. They all still have the Barbie clothes she knitted for them when they were little. They all had such fun dressing their dolls. All their friends admired Aunt Bettys handiwork.

I feel I was so blessed to have Betty to look up to in my life. I know she always looked out for me as a child. Having a sister eight years older was truly an asset.She was a great Mommy's helper I'm sure .I remember when Ralph left for the Korean War she was expecting Michael and she came back home. I was thrilled to share in my first nephews care. She was one of the most dedicated and loving Wives , Mothers & Grandmothers I ever knew.She was a great role model.I will surely miss her. I know she was anxious to join the love of her life "Ralph"in heaven , which makes it slightly easier to say goodbye. Rest in Peace dear Sister. To Mike , Jeanne, Kathy, Terri, David & Ralphie & their families our sincerest condolences. I wish I could be there with you.It is physically impossible at this time.
