Dorothy Adams, age 90, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Dorothy was born August 11, 1921 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Mary (Rogers) Adams. She married Chris Anderson who predeceased her. Dorothy was a Dutchess County Resident and also of resident of New York City. She lived in Rhinebeck in her Stone House which is on the Dutchess County Historical records. She was employed at Adams Fairacre Farms, the families store, after being involved in the fashion industry in New York City. She is survived by ; Sister of one sister: Diana Adams of Poughkeepsie, NY; Brother And Sister In-law, Ralph And Doris Adams of Poughkeepsie, NY; Brother And Sister In-law, Donald And Dale Adams of Poughkeepsie, NY. Calling hours will be Monday, April 2 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
