Florence E. Magdalany, age 90, of Wappingers New York, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. Magdalany was born June 1, 1921 in , CT. She is the daughter of the late Edward and the late Alice Morey. She married John G. Magdalany on November 11, 1919. She was predeceased by her husband, John G. Magdalany on September 29, 2001. Florence was a home maker, she loved horses and even had her own horses for over 40 years She is survived by ; Son and Daughter In-law, Robert and Rita Magdalany of New Windsor, NY; Son and Daughter In-law, Donald and Jana Magdalany of Wappingers Falls, NY. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by a sister and a brother. The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery, Sharon CT. Calling hours will be Saturday, April 14 from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.
