Obituary of Emery Kultsar

Emery Kultsar, age 81, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Emery was born August 16, 1930 in Budapest, Hungry. He is the son of the late Alexander and the late Gabrielle (Zsoter) Kultsar. He married Pamela S.Wilcox on August 25, 1984 in Poughkeepsie, New York. He retired from IBM Poughkeepsie as a Senior Engineer in 1995. A Local Resident since 1978, Emery immigrated to the United States in 1950 from Hungry. Emery had a Bachelors Degree in Physics. Even though Emery was Paralyzed from Polio since the age of 15, he never considered himself disabled and he never let it get him down. Emery Loved to Sail, Cruise and always loved to learn. He is survived by his wife: Pamela S. (Wilcox) Kultsar , of Poughkeepsie, one daughter: Silva Anna Kultsar of Normal, ILL and one son: Miklos Tait Kultsar of Helmut Providence Afghanistan The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wilbur Blvd, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be Private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Monday, April 30 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
