Obituary of Kevin Van Derveer

Kevin Van Derveer passed away unexpectedly on May 8th, 2012 at the family home where he grew up. He was 54 years old. He will be forever remembered and dearly missed by his wife, Manigeh, and two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Renee; his siblings: Peter Van Derveer, Barbara Reiner, Tricia Sims, and Robert van der Veer and their families; as well as a multitude of family, friends, and acquaintances. Kevin was born on November 25th, 1957 in New Brunswick, NJ to Ernest and Joanne Van Derveer. He graduated from Arlington High School and received his Associates degree in Agricultural Management from SUNY Cobleskill. He was the proud owner of Kevin Van Derveer, LTD. Kevin loved nature, gardening and spending time at the Adirondacks lake house. Forever a Yankees fan, he had a love of sports: tennis, skiing, scuba diving, fishing, sailing, boating and especially car racing with his brothers. Kevin loved his family and friends and we will miss him dearly. Services are to be held Wednesday May 16th, 2012 at 7pm at the Community Unitarian Church of White Plains on 468 Rosedale Ave. in White Plains, NY 10605.
