Obituary of Patricia DiMarino

Patricia J. DiMarino, age 70, of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at home in Poughkeepsie. Mrs. DiMarino was born February 14, 1942 in Mineola, Long Island. She is the daughter of the late Leon and the late Anna (Sass) Pelcher. She married Joseph M. DiMarino Sr. on February 18, 1961,he predeceased her on September 5, 1992. She was employed by Stop And Shop Wappingers Falls NY as a Customer, she had also previously worked at Andrew Jackson High in Queens as a Office Assistant. Pat was a eleven year local resident, previously from Middle Village New York. She attended St. Denis Church in Beekman New York, she loved to cook, bowl, spend time with her family and especially loved her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is survived by ; Daughter and Son In-law, Helen A. and Ezio Battaglini of Poughquag, NY; Son and Daughter In-law, Joseph M. and Lisa DiMarino of Hicksville, LI; Daughter and Son In-law, Kathleen and Carl Vitanza of Albrightsville; Daughter and Son In-law, Ann Marie and Edward Schmidt of Stroudsburg, PA; Daughter and Son In-law, Patricia and John Salerno of Wappingers Falls, NY; Grandchildren, Vincent, Michael, Lauren And Christine Battaglini; Kristopher Kalaf, Charlie and Jospeh Vitanza, Edward Jr and JoAnn Schmidt, Justine and Jonathan Salerno; Great Grandchildren, Vincent And Mackenzie Battaglini and Emma Marie Doyle. She is also survived by a sister: Carol Machinsky of TX; Pat was predeceased by her Husband, Joseph M. DiMarino Sr., Brother, Richard Pelcher, and her Sister, Dorothy Schatzle. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 1 from 2pm to 6pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Timothy P.
