Obituary of Fernando Coviello

Fernando Coviello, 78, of Poughkeepsie, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born October 7, 1933 in Benevento, Italy he was the son of the late John and Marie Antoinette Coviello. Fernando was a graduate of the schools in Italy. On November 22, 1954 in Benevento, Italy Fernando married Filomena Zarro, who survives at home. Fernando owned Coviello Trucking in Mt. Vernon, NY; he was also a school bus driver for the Spackenkill School District. Fernando loved fishing, and had a love for bowling. Family meant everything to Fernando, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Fernando is survived by son, John Coviello of North Babylon L.I., daughter, Marie and Husband Dominick DeSiena of Pleasant Valley, NY, daughter, Anna Marie and husband Lou Ingles of Brewster, NY, daughter, Fernandina and husband William Celestino of Wilson, NC, son, Anthony Coviello of Beekman, NY, daughter, Dora and husband Jeff Celestino of Poughkeepsie, NY, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Judes' Childrens' Research Hospital at Att. Memorial Donations Dept. 501 St. Judes' Place Memphis Tennessee 38105. Calling Hours will be held Sunday July 8, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 am Monday, July 9, 2012 at St. Martin Deporres Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
