Obituary of Robert Harris

Robert " Bobby " Harris, 59, passed away at home in Palm Beach Gardens on July 12, 2012. Born in Poughkeepsie on July 17, 1952, he was the son of the late John Vincent and Margaret Kane Harris, Bobby worked in his family well drilling business, moving to Florida in 1982 where he was a Teamster with Yellow Freight in Miami until retirement. What he loved most was spending time with family and friends, especially enjoying every one of his grandson's baseball and basketball games. They shared a love of all sports and were dedicated Florida Marlin and Miami Heat Fans. Bobby is survived by all who loved hi:: his wife Diane ( Lundewall ) Harris, daughter and grandson, Allison (Fouhy) Bodden and Christopher (CJ) Bodden Jr. of Jupiter Florida; sister, Ellen (Bob) Centeno of Hollywood Florida; brother, Jack (Diane)Harris of Poughkeepsie; nieces Heather Harris of Boston, MA; Layla Alfano of Pompano Beach,FL; Casey Steinhaus and Crissy Lundewall of Poughkeepsie:cousins, extended family and friends. Bobby was predeceased by his brother, James Harris A Private celebration of life and burial will be held in Poughkeepsie at a later date. Local arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P.
