Obituary of Frank Zueckert

Frank J. Zueckert, 71, of Poughkeepsie passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at home. Born in Raspenau, Germany on August 24, 1940 Frank was the son to the late Franz and Gertrude Matzig Zueckert. On December 18, 1960 Frank Married Jo Ann Hunt Zueckert in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jo Ann survives at home. Frank had a huge passion for trains, and was an excellent handyman. He is remembered by many for his love for making people smile and laugh. Frank is survived by his daughter Kim Cox and husband Miles of Ellenville, NY, daughter Karen Tompkins and husband Robert of Highland, NY, daughter Keryl Pesce and husband Craig of Beacon, NY, grand-daughter Danielle DeLuca of Stuart, FL, grand-daughter Melanie LeClercq of Webster, NY and nephew Russell Tagner of Nebraska. Frank was pre-deceased by his sister Herma Tagner. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 25 at 1:00pm, 18 McAlpine Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY. All are welcome.
