Maureen Ann " Pezzo" Tancredi, age 52, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, August 27, 2012 at , . Maureen was born August 11, 1960 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of Maurice J. and Irene (Cooper) Pezzo. Maureen was married to Todd N. Tancredi on May 28, 2005 in Highland New York. Maureen received her Master's Degree from St Michaels College in Vermont. She was employed by Arlington Central School District as a Teacher. She taught at the Arlington High School, Arlington Middle School and previously taught school in Saugerties NY. Maureen was a member of the Vinyard Community Church in Hopewell Jct. and also was a member of Arlington Teachers Association. Maureen loved to travel, loved to experience different cultures, she loved to read and her family was a big part of her life. Maureen loved to traveled, she traveled to Europe, she went to Israel four times, lived in Poland and Morocco and even taught school in these countries. Maureen loved to read and study the bible. Her spirituality was a big part of her life She is survived by her husband: Todd N. Tancredi ; her father Maurice J. and mother Irene (Cooper) Pezzo of Highland NY; Brother and Sister In-law, William J. And Kathleen Pezzo of Marlboro, NY; Brother and Sister In-law, James M. And Diane Pezzo of Milton, NY; Sister and Brother In-law, Kathleen And John L. Bellacicco of Milton, NY; her eight nieces and nephews; Erin Pezzo, Kerri Pezzo, Timothy Pezzo, Jessica Pezzo, Lindsey Pezzo, Megan Gauler, Christopher Bellacicco and Andrew Bellacicco. Maureen also is survived by her Dog Lucy. Calling hours will be Friday, August 31 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 155 Academy Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
