Robert D. Constance, Sr., age 78, of Lagrange, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at River Valley Care Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Constance was born September 12, 1933 in Manhattan, NY. He was married to Julia Silva for over thirty years. He retired from Food Emporium New York City as a Butcher in 2007. Mr. Constance was a member of U.F.C.W Local 174 Amalgamated Meat Cutters & Butcher Union. He loved Boxing, Loved Baseball and was an Avid Yankees Fan Loved to watch cooking shows with his daughter and also like to watch old black and white TV shows He is survived by his one son: Robert D. Constance Jr. of Manhattan, NY;his daughter and son in-law, Judith L. and Gregory P. Devine of Lagrange, NY; Daughter And Son In-law, Shiori and Michael Fiedler of Stanford, CT; Grandchildren, Gregory, Dominique And Frankie Devine and Dominic Constance. Calling hours will be Friday, September 7 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
