Obituary of Patrick McGhee

Patrick S. McGhee., age 43, of Amenia, son of the late Collins and Anita McGhee, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Patrick was born November 1, 1968 in Sharon, Conn. He attended Stissing Mountain Jr. Sr. High School and currently worked at Coole Park Farm in Amenia, NY. He enjoyed working with horses, loved the outdoors and cooking. He was an Avid Yankees Fan. He loved to watch and play sports with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his daughter: Crystal Ann McGhee of Red Hook, NY and her fiancé Steven Marotta; his sisters Julann Peters and husband John of Kingston, and Colleen Avazian and husband, the late Timothy Avazian of Red Hook, his brothers Lester and wife Judith of Midlothian, VA, Rick and wife Stephanie of Elizaville, NY, William and wife Lianne of Millerton, NY, George and wife Janice of Pine Plains, NY, as well as Michael and wife Linda Baldwin of Pine Plains, NY. Along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Patrick is preceeded in death by his brother Kevin McGhee of Richmond, VA., His maternal grandparents Lester and Eda Aroh and paternal grandparents Collins and Mildred McGhee all of whom where from Pine Plains, NY. A grave side burial will be held 11:30 Sunday, September 16th at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, NY followed by a memorial celebration at 149 Mill Hill Rd. Pine Plains, NY.
