Obituary of Edward Herman

Edward H. Herman, 56, of Hyde Park passed away Friday September 12, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Edward Herman and the late Faith (Merritt) Herman. Eddie is survived by his wife Cynthia Kasnia, His daughter Ashly and her Fiancee David Roach; His daughter Kaylani and his son Trayse, as well as, his sister Cindy Menzie and her husband Joe; and his sister Stephanie Herman. Ed retired in 2006 after proudly serving the Town of Poughkeespie Police Department as a detective for 25 years. Ed will be lovingly remember by his friends and family as a kind and generous man whose many accomplishments as a police officer were second only to his dedication as a father and a husband, He will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be held at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
