Obituary of Hope Flannagan

Hope V. Flannagan, age 95, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at home in Poughkeepsie. Mrs. Flannagan was born September 7, 1917 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late Harry and the late Ella (Gue) Finger. She married Donald P. Flannagan on October 27, 1942 at Millbrook, New York. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald P. Flannagan on February 1987. She retired in 1948 from Arlington Elementary Grade School as a Teacher. Mrs. Flannagan was a member of Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church. She was a Stained Glass Artist and enjoyed doing oil painting, she Loved to travel and she enjoyed making sterling silver jewelery. She is survived by ; Daughter And Son In-law, Jude And Rob Rondon Holdsworth of Gremantown, NY; Grandson And His Wife, Michael And Jen Holdsworth of Sanford, FLA. Hope was predeceased by her Sisters, Edna DuBois and Jane Zimmer. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family..
